But Bailey is still being boarded waiting for an approved foster home to come forward If you have room in your heart & home for a special girl, that loves to run and be chased, Apply Today! All Twelve MD Rescues have been Sponsored!9 are in Foster Homes but 3 still need your help! The three remaining Baltimore dogs have been moved to a boarding kennel that is close enough to one of our volunteers so daily visits are now possible. Originially, because of the number of dogs and the very Urgent need to take them into rescue, the decision was made to place them in the most economical kennel recommended to us. This presented our volunteers with a problem because it meant that daily monitoring of the dogs condition was impossible. Bailey, Sunny and Gus, still in need of foster homes, have been slowly losing weight they could not afford to lose given their original poor condition. Blowing winter coats has deeply accentuated what volunteers could feel at the time of the dogs rescue. It also demonstrates how Sunny's loss of 10 more pounds and Bailey and Gus's additional weight loss made the move a necessity. Now they are located closer to a volunteer that will be visiting and providing each with personal attention on a daily basis but, it comes at a cost. The new kennel's daily charge per dog is at least 30% higher then the previous boarding kennel. Rescue is really unable to cover this added expense but, the well-being of the dogs means we must. If you can help, our committment to you, is that your donation will be applied as you designate. 100% of your donation helps the dogs! All donations for the Baltimore Dogs are being carefully documented to insure each and every donation is used as intended. Your donation Today will be applied directly to Bailey's boarding while she waits for her foster home. Donate with a credit card or electronic check through GuideStar's secure server.
