Listed below are Belgian Malinois Rescue contacts of different provinces within
Canada.
These people are willing to take your phone call or e-mail about
possible Belgian Malinois in need of rescue. If you find it necessary to
contact one of these people please make sure that you have the necessary
information available.
The first step will be positively IDing the Belgian Malinois and
accessing the need to find foster housing. Many times this can and has been
accomplished quickly but, please, we beg of you, DO NOT leave it until the last
possible day. Each person doing rescue has a family and job, if
they don't get your notice until they return home in the evening there is
virtually nothing they can accomplish in the short time remaining.
Type of help desired, location of Malinois in need, has positive identification
been made, names, phone numbers and/or e-mail address of person responsible for
the welfare of the Malinois. If possible this should include the name of the
person that can authorize release of the canine should it be accepted as a
rescue.
Contacts are listed in alphabetical order according to the Province
they have volunteered to help with. Malinois accepted into foster
care for adoption will be spayed or neutered prior to placement in
a new home.
