She had a rough time before coming into Rescue, part of her ear is missing and she was sooooooo thin!

Lola was a stray in a shelter in Wyoming. She is about two years old, spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. She is housebroke and crate trained. She had a rough time before coming into Rescue, part of her ear is missing and she was sooooooo thin! Lola has blossomed with love and good food, now she needs a home to call her own.

Her foster mom says: Lola is such a sweet loveable, goofy girl, she has so much personality. She is a bit shy to strangers, but getting better, she would be best suited in a non aggressive other dog home, does get along with non threatening dogs, NO cats. She does love kids, but seems to like boys better than the girls, over 5 yrs old. She walks well on lead, but does get excited about going to go for a ride, so sometimes forgets herself, but she does not pull hard.

Very well mannered in the house, but once in awhile gets a hair and has her funny spaz attacks, where she grabs a stuffed toy and runs through the house, bounding off of the couches. She needs more outside play time, then she is fine LOL! I can't say enough good about this sweet girl, she loves to cuddle and her antics, make me laugh constantly. She would love to have someone to love and take her for hikes. With lots of play time, she is just learning that she can play and have fun finally.

Spring approx 5 - 5.5 yr old spayed female - WA

Spring is gets along with our dogs, is fine w/our children and likes people!

Spring came from a kennel and has never before been a house dog, but is adapting so well! Spring has not had much training or socialization but we are working on it. She is very friendly with people and gets along with our other five dogs. We have taken her to local pet stores etc. and she does fine. We haven't seen an aggressive bone in her body yet.

Spring is recovering from a surgery from an auto accident. She was in the rear of a vehicle (in her crate) that was rear ended by a drunk driver. Spring had a dislocated hip and a ruptured spleen. She has a little bit of fear about cars but once inside she rides fine. She has almost fully recovered from her surgery and, of course, the energy comes with it. She always wants to play! I'm sure part of it is that she has been crated a lot the last 2 months recovering. She is a very curious girl and loves to keep her nose to the ground smelling everything she can.

She seems to have a bit of a sensitive stomach. She is currently on a high quality, no grain kibble.

Spring has also done fine with our two children ages 9 and 12. She has not been tested with cats but doesn't seem to mind small dogs. Spring really just wants to explore and be around people. Spring is a very sweet and loving girl that needs someone to spend time with her training, playing and socializing her.
