Meet Ms TX Mary Jane! Jane was saved from being euthanized in a small town TX shelter. She was found as a stray. Jane is a 1.5 year old female looking for her very own family. She LOVES playing ball, is VERY athletic and would be FANTASTIC at agility or dock diving. OR???? Mary Jane has discovered her fosters swimming pool and LOVES to swim. She is very sweet and the true velcro Malinois just waiting for her own family or person that is familiar with the breed. She is good with other dogs as long as proper introductions are done and managed. Jane would be very happy as an only dog too. Jane can open doors and crates so she can follow her people where-ever they are going. She also LOVES shoes!!! So, remember to put your shoes away or MJ will! Jane has a lovely temperament and has shown NO aggression. She was evaluated by a PD and found to have what it takes for detection or some type of scent work, but sadly because she WAS Heartworm positive, they wouldn’t take her into their program. Jane has completed her treatment and is 100% healthy and happy now. Jane kennels on command, likes to ride in a car, is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night and when her foster dad is away. She is being fostered by a retired handler and has learned basic obedience and manners. Families with older dog savvy children is best and MJ has seen a cat and did not pay any attention to it so it is possibly that she may except a cat buddy. Unknown about livestock. MJ can be moved out of the TX region if you are willing to meet ABMR at least halfway or further.
