Handsome, Single Gentleman Seeks Strong Female With No Young Children. -

Duke is looking for his forever home.  Duke was surrendered along with the family’s other two dogs. He’s just over 2 years old 75 lbs and BEAUTIFUL! He is neutered and microchipped.

He’s very playful! LOVES women, can be shy around men, he’s a hugger and wants to be with his lady of the house more than anything. He’s not much of a barker, not much of a ball player, but has a good amount of energy. He would make a good running buddy, hiking buddy, or possibly even a fishing buddy... who knows? He has been good with other large dogs but can get an attitude if they are pushy but can be easily corrected. He is a bully to puppies, so no small dogs.

He’s sweet with a lot of personality, some hyper, drivey, goofy, silly but not over the top crazy.  From his foster: "He will make someone very happy! He’s is very friendly. Warms up quick but isn’t clingy at all. Really wants to be where the action is at and the action always seems to be somewhere besides where he is."

He is house trained, good in his crate, and ok on a leash but has no real obedience and good in a car.
We prefer a family with no young children and prefer an experienced home for Duke. He can be a bit timid with new situations so we prefer a gentle home with Malinois experience that will take the time to introduce him to his new home slowly and carefully. He is currently in a kennel situation and not happy.

Please apply below for Duke.  We will only transport within Virginia or neighboring states and you must be willing to meet our transport half way.
