ABMR Tito is back in Rescue and needs a new forever home. Tito was adopted over a year ago, but his owner became very sick with a chronic, debilitating illness. She’s had Tito in boarding for several months in hopes that she would have been able to keep her beloved companion, but she's now come to the realization that she needs to surrender him back to Rescue. Her one request is that we help Tito find a new home with someone that loves him as much as she does.

Tito came into Rescue 2 years ago after living on the streets of Miami. He was in pretty bad shape and needed extensive vet work. Tito is a bit more seasoned at 8 yrs old, but he is still all Malinois! He is active and energetic without being over the top! Tito is sweet and friendly, but not as needy as some Malinois. His foster thinks he has gotten even sweeter with age! He would be happy to sit next to you, or at your feet--rather than right up on your lap!!! Tito is both house and crate trained. With supervision, he is not destructive in the house (unless it is a soft squeeky toy.). Tito gets along with other easier going dogs, but no cats for Tito! He does have some drive to him. Especially ball drive! He will play ball as long as you can throw, and is happiest with something in his mouth, like his favorite Kong toy! He hasn't been able to chew that one up! Tito is recommended to have a physical fenced-in yard. He can jump a shorter fence if he wanted to, but with supervision, he will stay put, and has a decent recall in a fenced-in area. While he has been around younger kids with careful supervision, Tito is recommended for a no-child home. Teenagers and up OK. He rides well in the car and walks well on a leash.
