Gorgeous Libby is a 2 year old, spayed female Belgian Malinois.  She has the potential to become a sport prospect with her ball and play drive and will play for hours and even ignore small critters over a toy!  Libby is crate trained and is good in the house and sleeps quietly through the night in her crate.   She has been around kids, men and women and large and small dogs, and even a hedgehog with no problems.  She is known to entice her housemates into games of of tug, keep away and chase me to start the fun!

 

 

Libby is looking for a family to give her a job and continue with her progress! She came into rescue without an outlet for her stress and turned to spinning and tail chasing to comfort and stimulate herself.  When not exercised and stimulated, she will easily revert back to her spinning behavior, usually with renewed vigor.  She has taken to suckling on blankets as way to wind down but takes bully sticks to chew and wind down as well.  Libby has made great progress in the car and started to ride tethered quietly after a bumpy start.  She needs continued socialization and exposure as loud noises such as barking dogs, tv, loud music or big cars and trucks are very upsetting to her.

 

Libby is a sweetheart who loves to snuggle and be with her people! She has shown great improvement with structure, routine as well as being given outlets to channel her stresses.  Libby is looking for an experienced handler who can continue to help this young lady grow!
