Lucy is a very sweet girl who is somewhat shy upon meeting new people, especially men, but she quickly warms up. She likes to jump up on people, but foster is working on that, as well as crate training.

She seems to have had some obedience training. Her sit, down are really good. She’s really sweet and loving. Teaching her place. She’s doing better with different floor surfaces. Jumping is minimal. Mostly when excited. Gets along well with other male dog in the foster home. They love to play. She is good around the female resident dog; They can be around each other and Lucy does fine. So, I can say that Lucy doesn’t go after her to attack when they are together.  Likes bones. Not ball driven.

She’s not destructive in the house and can probably stay out when I’m gone, though I haven’t done that. She also would probably do fine at night out of the crate. She just may be one of those dogs that does better out of the crate.

She has bonded very quickly to her foster people, and is very sweet & cuddly. She is very gentle taking treats.

Lucy is still recovering from her spay surgery, where they also repaired a hernia, so she is taking it easy for now. 

Lucy would make a great pet for a first-time Malinois owner.

She has not been tested with cats or small children.
