Meet Mickey the Mal.  He is fully vetted about 1.5 - 2 years old and ready for his forever home! He has almost been a foster fail.....but his foster thinks he will do best in an active home where he receives structure, regular exercise and advanced training. Mickey would wish for a family that is Malinois or high drive dog experienced. 

Mickey is a typical Malinois! He is biddable, high energy, ball crazy and brave. He would make an excellent running partner, sport dog or hiking partner. He is busy busy until all the toys are put away then he turns into your favorite mushy couch potato! He is an angel in his crate and is happy to hang out there, but not for extended periods of time. If you work 8 hours a day away from home I'm afraid Mickey isn't your dog.  

Obedience games are his jam especially if a ball is involved. BUT mindless fetch is boringggg!  His recall is very good too! but he doesn't like being bothered while eating, but then who does! He is wicked fast, loves playing double ball games and outs like a charm.      

Mickey is shy until he gets to know you then he turns on the cuteness. He loves his people and children over the age of 5 are ok too! He will make a wonderful loyal family companion and is the perfect Malinois size at about 50 lbs and DNA tested as 100% Belgian Malinois. 

Mickey would be very happy being an only dog or he loves playing rough and tumble games with another dog. So if your dog is rough and tumble too it could be a match! BUT, he won't be happy in a home with cats or small dogs.

His foster in the Denver area has done a wonderful job of house, crate and leash training with the clicker method.  Mickey is ready for his forever home. If you are an approved ABMR adopter we can put you in touch with the foster so you can get the full scoop.
