3 yo male neutered, UTD on shots: : DHLPP 08-14-2020, Rabies 6-15-2020 (due 6-15-2021), Bordatella 6-15-2020

95+ lbs

Temperament = mellow, friendly, calm

When walking around other dogs, can get excited and bark.  Lives with a female hound dog and is good with her.  Prior to being neutered, would mount her but has toned that down since being neutered.

Crate trained but leaves loose in house when they leave and he is not destructive

Left alone for 11 hours and has accidents but does not mark the house

Puts in crate when driving – gets motion sick

When they get home, he is frantic and all kinds of pent up energy.

Reserved at first when meeting new people but warms up and loves to be pet.

Food motivated

Will chase ball but does not bring it back

On Purina high protein diet – tummy sensitivity

Failed school for K9 work – found to have hip dysplasia. Took to their vet and didn’t see anything that would compromise quality of life

Not afraid of loud noises
