Located in Michigan.
Chloe is a senior girl who was left in the back yard when her owners moved out of their Miami, FL home. The new tenants shaved her coat, thinking they'd prevent shedding + their child's allergies, but then decided they had no room for a big dog. She has lived outside most of her life it seems, with no preventives for fleas, ticks, or heartworm - and sadly, Chloe is heart worm positive. She also has some issues with her ear that require weekly care.
She is said to be a very sweet girl, loves children, and likes to play ball in the yard.
Due to heartworm treatment lasting at least 3 months, Chloe will not be available for adoption until later this summer. She also cannot undergo spay surgery while in this condition. But she is a sweet girl, loves people. We hope to get to know her better soon, once she reaches her long-term medical foster home.
