Located in Houston, TX. Heidi was found as a stray on the hi-way where a good samaritan  rescued her. This sweet girl is now fully vetted, healthy and getting happy. She is calm, loving and loves her people very much. Somewhat unsure of her circumstances she is coming out of her shell as she realizes she is safe. 

We will update her profile as we learn more, but she is good with dogs, kids and friendly with people, she is crate trained and house trained. We are fairly certain that she has not receive any formal training but seems to have good polite manners - a good base to build on!

She is not destructive, fence climbing or noisy.

She would do well with an active attentive family with another dog for company. She would also do well with some further obedience training. Right now we don't know if she an aptitude for toys, fetch, scent work etc.

Heidi 

This sweetie is looking for her forever home. Heidi is located in Spring, Texas. She is being treated for an infection after being spayed, but is healing nicely.  Heidi is quiet, gentle, well mannered, very calm and little Miss independent. She is good with kids, any elderly, other dogs, and cats (all though interested in them). 
Heidi loves playing ball, going on walks, playing tug, with her toys and taking long naps.  She is comfortable being in her crate at night (with the door open) and then comes to say “Good Morning” looking for love and cuddles.  We are learning basic commands like sit, down, shake, and paw.  We have had some accidents in the house but only because of the infection. 

Heidi would do well in a home first time or a moderate active family. She is happy hanging out with her humans watching TV and taking long naps as long as there are  belly rubs and scratches behind the ears.  She is such a good girl and just wants to be loved.  Heidi would make a great addition to any family. 

Spayed, Heartworm negative, in good health, good with cats, all humans, non vocal, plays well with other pets, interested in cats, non aggressive, somewhat crate trained, potty trained, does well in the car, affectionate, and loves to play with toys.
