Ready for adoption. ABMR Mally is doing very well in her foster home. She is one of 3 breeder-surrender litter-mates, with no name and limited socialization for the first 6 months of their lives. She is 6 months old and currently 39lbs.

Mally has been sweet to new people she’s met, but is very timid/ somewhat skittish of new things. She is super smart and attentive, and wants to learn, and while she has nice ball drive, she seems more motivated by attention. She wants to please and takes verbal corrections well. She loves to play but will settle in the house when done. She is a lover for sure, and will bond close to her person and want to be near them all the time! She was very good at the vet and enjoys riding in a car and going places.

Mally is house trained and walks surprisingly well on a leash. She will go into her crate, but is not a fan, and will need a stronger “impact” type crate for security.

So far, Mally has been a bit reactive with other dogs, more fear-based than aggression. She mostly likely has not been exposed to much, and was just separated from her siblings.

Mally is a very nice puppy, who seems to have the drives to excel at performance sports/obedience. We do know her sire (Champion working dog--will not be disclosed on Facebook), and she has very strong, yet stable working genetics from that side of her family. Mally will need an patient, experienced leader to help with continued confidence building to help her become comfortable around new things. I would say no cats or very young children for her (although I was told she was raised around kids), because she does have some drive. She would do best in a home with no other pets, or a smaller, easy going pack, with someone who will help her integrate to other dogs and help her to feel secured. With her young age, and good genetics, it’s felt she will overcome a lot of her insecurities and be an amazing dog!!
