Brandon is a boisterous, athletic 1.5yr old Malinois.  Brandon can be timid and a little insecure at first but opens up once he learns to trust his person.  He is best with slow introduction to new people, especially men, but does well when ignored and allowed to approach at his own speed.  He is a sweet and sensitive boy at heart and just needs to learn that humans can be trustworthy and kind.  For Brandon, ball is life.  He has a ton of athleticism and high drive, and would be a great sport dog prospect. He can sometimes get too wound up around toys though and can get easily frustrated, so he needs proper structure and rules maintained when playing.  He is still working on impulse control and boundaries, but will thrive with someone with some training experience.  Due to high prey drive, Brandon cannot be in a home with small children, cats or other small pets.  He gets along well with larger dogs after slow introduction, and would do well with a canine sibling that is more confident that he can take his cues from. Inside the home, Brandon is a love bug.  He enjoys his couch and bed cuddles and always has to be where you are. He has good manners, but can get into mischief if bored and left unattended.  He is crate trained but requires a hard travel crate as he tends to escape the wire ones. Brandon has a giant heart and a personality to match - he just needs that special family to give him a chance on a forever home!
