Roxy is a very special malinois with special needs. Could you be her special person? She graduated from the school of hard knocks with an advanced degree and high honors- homelessness, heartworm treatment, a broken leg, and a litter of pups. Her medical conditions have all been sorted out, and she is now a tri-pawed, her pups adopted, and her heartworm treatment completed. It’s time for Roxy to settle into a forever home ready to welcome her. 

Roxy is dog selective and might benefit from being your only pet. She does well with some of her foster siblings (a female boxer and a male chihuahua mix) but things can get tense with her malinois foster sibling. Despite all she has endured, her foster mama describes her as athletic – a real testament to the malinois spirit and spunk! She loves to chase small animals and her prey drive is absolutely intact. This means a fence for outdoor play, plenty of supervision, and no small animals.  

Roxy is a sweetheart, a couch cuddler, a lover of bones to chew, and addicted to tug-of-war. She has great house manners, and is eager to learn and please.
