Meet Nala!  Nala is 4 years young -- a wonderful companion who loves to be by her people's side whenever possible.  She is very affectionate loving to give hugs and kisses.  With a little help from an ez walk harness is enjoying long walks daily and is eager to meet people and other dogs on the trails.  Nala enjoys time with her canine foster family who come in a variety of sizes and breeds.  She does appear to have a decent prey drive (squirrels and birds are very exciting) so a home with cats is not recommended.  Her excitement to see her human fosters is very obvious and we've learned to steady ourselves for her onslaught of affection.  She would not be recommended for a house with small children as they would be likely trampled by excitement.  Nala takes a few minutes and treats to meet new people coming into "her" home, but once she knows them she is very friendly.  Nala loves to play fetch with balls and is working on learning how to properly catch a disc.  She has proven to be housebroken and is working on her manners while others are eating around her.  As her foster, I cannot say enough about her wonderful personality and I know she will make someone the best companion!
