Cora, born 2/21/2022

 

Cora has the sweetest kisses in the morning and after her naps. Cora came to me when she was 6 weeks old and so tiny. But make no mistake she is 100% Malinois as soon as she is awake and she is ready to go. She shares her days here with my 3 year old German Shepherd who has a lot of patience for her. 

 

Cora is the sweetest and she is so smart and really needs a job. She is doing great with her recall and she sits and walks well on her leash. She is crate trained and does really well in the house. She rings a bell at the door when she needs to potty but still a work in progress. We use markers in training so YES is her bridge word and Aught is her stop word ( instead of no ). She goes in her crate and waits for her bridge word and treat, also will not come out of crate without bridge word and treat.

 

We have been working on luring and focus training and she is doing great. Her prey drive is high and goes after anything that has wheels and moves or anything that moves. She does great in the car as long as she is in a crate where she feels safe and she will go to sleep. We take her everywhere with us so she has been exposed to alot of places and people. Her favorite place is cabelas. She will need a large crate because she likes to spread out and has to have her momma lama with her. She also likes to have a noise machine or fan noise when she sleeps. Sorry that’s my fault . 

 

Having Cora has been a huge Blessing and she is going to make someone an amazing partner. She definitely needs someone who will train her and give her a job. She will not be happy just being a companion.

 

Cora is a working dog that will need a job for physical exercise and mental stimulation.

 

All puppies will require a Spay/Neuter addendenum with a $500 deposit. This is refundable when the adopter shows confirmation of Spay/Neuter at 6 months of age.
