Fish was found dumped on the side of the road in TX with 4 of his litter mates. He is a fabulous, happy healthy puppy with a solid calm temperament. He’s steady and confident, not exceptionally high drive, but is an active puppy that LOVES to play ball and fetch! He loves playing with other dogs and kids too! (ages 9 and 7). Fish has an excellent nose and might enjoy some sort of scent work, barn hunt etc. Loud noises of any kind have no effect on him and he’s been known to sleep right through major construction! He does notice strange noises and is alert to his surroundings but is unafraid and in fact wants to go investigate, which of course leads him into getting into stuff!! LOL, but he listens well to his foster mom. Fish is learning basic commands and of course he’s eager to please and learn. He knows sit and shake and some basic leash manners. Fish is crate trained and fairly trustworthy in the house, he loves to go for car rides too. He knows how to use the doggy door at his foster mom’s house and he’s living with a cat that he’s said HI! too and then went back to puppy fun things, which apparently the cat isn’t counted as one. He LOVES water so might possibly enjoy some dock diving type training. He loves to hide in the tall green grass and play 'catch me if you can'. Fish has learned to play with toys now too and of course the squeaky one is his favorite. He is learning how to be a big dog from the adult female in the household. Fish has learned that he is from a herding line of dogs and finds great joy in “heeling” his foster mom with nips on the back of her legs when she’s not looking! Of course, this is being highly discouraged.
