Strawberry Melon Wall!  I have no idea where she got her name, but it’s as cute as she is!  But don’t let that sweet face fool you—this girl is a little spit fire and will need an experienced adopter!   No small dogs/young children.   Not sure about cats. 

Strawberry was surrendered by her breeder to a local vet at 2 weeks or age due to an eye injury.  The injury was treated by removing the eye, and Strawberry went to the Humane Society where she was bottle fed and then eventually surrendered to ABMR.  She was spayed by the Humane Society.  Strawberry is a high drive little pup.  She can be sweet and playful, but she does not like being told what to do and what not to do and will bite with intent at these times.  She is small for her age, but those little puppy teeth are sharp!  When frustrated, she will try to redirect on her handler and is showing some food aggression towards people.  She is making a lot of progress in her foster home, and will need an adopter who will continue her training with fair, consistent limits and boundaries.

Strawberry is good with other dogs, and her ideal home would include well adjusted dogs to help teach her boundaries, and for her to play with.  She can be a fun little girl, and would do well with a job, she likes to keep busy.  Most of the time she is sweet and loving.  She is very young,  and with continued training in the right home, she will shine!!
