Maka is thriving in her foster home and making great strides in building trust and confidence. Under the patient guidance of her foster dad, she has become more at ease around both her human companions and canine buddies.
It seems that Maka takes about a week to fully warm up to new people, but once she does, she showers them with affection and kisses. Her crate is her safe place as she adjusts to her new surroundings. Her foster dad has been instrumental in her socialization process, working with her alongside the foster care givers to ensure she feels comfortable with their presence. Once she gets used to the new surroundings and routines she’s the best dog eager to go with you anywhere.

Maka has mastered the art of outdoor play with the other dogs. The foster care givers take the pack out for playtime, and Maka joins in, sitting obediently to ensure everyone stays safe and within the yard. She has become adept at resisting the temptation to chase after deer, showing her growing understanding of boundaries. 
The foster family has helped Maka feel more at ease with various sounds while outdoors. Daily exercises involve creating a positive association with noises, with a focus on building her confidence and preventing timid behavior. 

Maka has a special affinity for kiddie pools and enjoys a refreshing splash in them several times a day. Additionally, she relishes the daily morning runs and play sessions at a nearby park, showcasing her love for outdoor adventures. Maka walks great on the leash.
We are delighted with Maka's progress to overcome barriers and build confidence. Maka is sure to bring joy and companionship to her future forever home.
