From Silver's Foster:
No small dogs or dominant dogs.
A calmer dog would probably be best as she feeds off of the energy of her environment.
I would also suggest no small kids or hyper kids, again she feeds off of their energy.
She still hates baths and crates.
She is a love bug when no other dogs are around
She is not food aggressive at all but does try to eat the other dogs food if you don’t supervise her. So best if other dogs aren’t food aggressive because she does try to get their food.
She takes treats gently out of your hand.
She is not destructive when left out of crate.
She still has lots of manners to learn.
Leash training is still a process, she seems to forget everything she learns within a couple days and we have to start over again from scratch
She really didn’t know her former name but seems to recognize her new name now (Kyia).
She is much better with my husband and seems to be doing better with men in general. We still use precautions when introducing her to anyone but she seems to be ok most of the time.
Per suggestions from our vet we have had her on puppy Prozac for a month now and have just started her on month 2. It hasn’t really seem to help much but we are trying another month, hopefully we see improvement with her separation anxiety and focus.
