He is calm in the house and can relax... it is important that he get the proper exercise and mental stimulation daily.   He has a generous sponsor that has donated towards training for Cory in his new home, this will set up and approved with rescue before completing adoption.

H e has a grasp of basic commands such as sit, come, crate. He has been crated overnight and is quiet with a few toys.

Cory is an absolute delight and there is a lot of potential in him that could make a phenomenal dog for just the right person.  He will give his heart to his forever person.

He is around 2.5 years old, up to date on vaccines, neutered, on heartworm and flea/tick preventative monthly and a healthy guy.   He is a medium drive boy that has the personality of a puppy, he weighs about 65 pounds

Cory has been doing tracking and man trailing the last few months and doing well.   He likes meeting new people and being exposed to new places.

He loves exploring and takes new situations well.  He is looking for a handler savvy owner who can be his one and only and devote the time needed for him to be your  best friend, he is a dog who really needs a strong connection to his human which will be repaid two-fold in his loyalty to you.

He has been introduced to flirt pole games and enjoys the chase and run.  He can be touch sensitive near his hind end. His caregiver has been working to desensitize him which has helped. His new owner will need to respect his touch sensitivity and be willing to continue working with him on this conditioning.

Recently Cory has been given training opportunities to find out more of what he likes to do.   He has shown interest in tugging as a motivator to keep the game fun.   The game now is tracking and scent work and he has shown over a few sessions that this is an awesome game to play!

Corey loves searching cars, he is so excited to be searching for scent he cant wait to get to the car and has a lot of enthusiasm.

From his positive reinforcement trainer: " He shows a strong interest in searching vehicles for scent.  I'm so happy we found something he seems to enjoy and shows so much promise"

Because he was found as a stray and his background is unknown he will not be placed with children or cats.  He has been in a foster home with other dogs and can be part of the pack, proper time to adjust and slow introductions will be needed to help him settle into a multi dog household.
