Special Agent Oso has officially completed his neuter protocol and is now cleared for his next assignment: a forever home.

 

Agent Profile

Breed: Belgian Malinois
Age: Approximately 3 years
Weight: About 50 pounds
Location: Fostered in South Carolina (half way transport is provided to adopters)
Status: Neutered, housebroken, crate trained, heartworm negative

 

Temperament Classification

Despite his elite working-dog résumé, Special Agent Oso is secretly more of a relaxed house agent. His foster rates his energy level around a 4–5 out of 10. He enjoys training and being involved with his humans, but he is just as happy hanging out around the house, chewing on toys or bones, and keeping an eye on his people.

 

Specialized Skills

Human Devotion Unit: He will do anything for his people and bonds quickly with the person who handles him most. He can become a lovable velcro dog to his favorite human.

Training Operative: Food-motivated and enjoys learning.

Transportation Expert: Jumps in and out of vehicles easily and rides great in the car, whether on the seat or in a crate.

Professional Walker: Walks very well on both long and short leashes.

Domestic Operations: Does great in a crate or kennel and is fully housebroken.

 

Environmental Clearance

Special Agent Oso has been tested in several environments and passed with flying colors.

 

He enjoys meeting new dogs and plays well with them, though he tends to mirror the energy of the other dogs.

He loves meeting new people and strangers.

He remained calm when walking around children at a playground, showing curiosity but no chasing or reacting to noise or movement.

He has also met chickens, ducks, geese, and ponies, and showed little interest in them. He was even friendly with the pony.

He handles baths well, though, like many dogs, he is not a fan of dryers.

He is confident around traffic and vehicles.

He enjoys toys, bones, and relaxing near his people between activities.
